Usually puppies get their ears cropped when they are 10/12 weeks of age. Based on this you should post your dog's ears until the cartilage is fully harden and healed, which means you will completely be done with ear posting once your puppy gets past the teething phase at the 6/7 month age mark.
If you started ear posting later, and your dog is between 6 months - 1 year of age, it is still perfectly fine to post the ears. You will need to post for 6 months in order to be fully completed. We have worked with numerous dogs that were older than 1 year of age, where we have seen success of the ears being posted. So if you started posting later please do not feel discouraged, you can still try and post the ears and see how your dog's ears will react since every dog is different.
We work individually with each dog and owner, please reach out to us via chat or [email protected] if you have any specific questions.
